  5. Heat a pan.Add 2-3 tablespoon oil.then add a pinch of asafoetida(hing).Once oil will be heated add 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds.Let it crackle.add red chillis.Now add chopped garlic and onion..
  6. Add 1/4 tablespoon salt or as per your taste and little bit turmeric.please remember 1/2tablespoon salt and turmeric already we have added before.Add 1/8tbsp coriander and garam masala.it will enhance the taste.mix it.saute it for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Now add chopped tomato.mix it.cook it until becomes soft..
  8. Transfer daal to pan for tempering.temper it.add some water as consistency you like.Here I have add 1.5 cup water.Boil it for 3-4 minutes.atlast add 1-2 tablepoon chopped coriander.our delicious daal is ready to serve.Serve it with rice,bati or chapatis..
