- Take 2 tbsp of whole red lentis.
- Take 2 tbsp of whole green gram.
- Get 2 tbsp of whole black grams.

- Take 1 of green cardamom.
- Prepare 1 inch of cinnamon stick.

- Get 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- Prepare 1 tsp of Roasted cumin powder.
- Provide 1 of big onion(chopped)+3tblsp for tadka.
- Provide 2-3 of green chillies.
- Take 1 tbsp of garlic ginger paste.
- Take 1 cup of boiled vegetables.
- Take 1 of medium tomato(chopped).
- Take 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
- Get 1 tbsp of Ghee.
- Take To taste of salt.
- Prepare as required of Chopped coriander for garnishing.
Instructions to make Mixed veg dal:
- Wash and soak all the dals for about 3-4 hours..
- In a pressure cooker put all the soaked dal with little water and 2 cups water. give enough whistle so that the dal gets nicely cooked, remove from flame..
- Heat a heavy base pan put some oil in it, put cumin seeds, green cardamom, cinnamon stick and bay leaf in it then put onion, green chillies fry till onion is soft. Then put garlic ginger paste cook for 2-3 mins, now add the boiled vegetables and tomatoes in it salt and stir nicely, cook for 3-4 mins then add the cooked dal in it and with a hand blender mash it nicely so that everything is nicely mixed..
- Adjust it's consistency according to your need, check salt.then on low flame let it cook for 10-15 mins stirring in between..
- Now turn off flame.in another tarka pan-fry 3 tblsp of chopped onion in ghee and put over the cooked dal keep in covered for 10mins.lastly sprinkle roasted cumin powder stir nicely, and serve..
